This website is a dedicated space for sharing and celebrating the rich, intertwined heritage of Anglo-Indians and their Indian roots. Our aim is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where stories of family history, identity, and ancestry can be told, preserved, and explored.
Across centuries, thousands of men travelled to India, forming unions with local women. These relationships gave rise to mixed-heritage children who, over generations, married within similar families and shaped a distinct community once known as Half-Caste or Eurasian, and later recognised as Anglo-Indian. At one time, the Anglo-Indian population in India is estimated to have reached around three million.
Many of the Indian women in these early unions were not recorded by name, caste, or place of origin. One of our key goals is to uncover, document, and honour these often-forgotten stories, ensuring they are not lost to time. By reconstructing family trees with an emphasis on Indian lineage, we hope to bring clarity, recognition, and dignity to all parts of our shared history.
We invite you to contribute your own family stories — whether they are well documented, partially known, or still emerging. Our team is here to guide and support you through the process of telling your story and having it featured on this website. We do not judge or evaluate; we simply listen, encourage, and help your voice be heard.
This is an international community driven by passion, curiosity, and a shared commitment to understanding our heritage. You are welcome to join the conversations, ask questions, offer suggestions, and explore the resources available here. The only requirement is a willingness to connect.
Together, we can piece together the diverse and remarkable history of the Anglo-Indian community, one story at a time.
